Do you make sure you add alt tags every time? I tend to forget and then go back and edit in alt tags, but I wonder how much traffic I end up losing by not having them up from the beginning

Not all the time though I should check really. I just do what I can for my website on a daily basis. There is no real point of rushing everything so if I forget the alt tags I can always add them next time.
