How long does it take to learn SEO and where do you begin?  Are there any good online courses that teach SEO or would I need to go to college?

that is a good question micki.  I don't believe they teach that type of thing at college.  not the college i went to anyway.  i've learned a lot about it from forums.  i believe going to the different search engines and learning directly from them, how to optimize for them, would be of benefit.
