Have you ever heard of Alexa ranking and do you have any experience using it?  I have heard a little about it, but have no experience of using it.

The new alexa ranking is better than the old one because this one can’t be cheated like the older system.  My ranking goes up from 12 million to 1 million this month.

That sounds better.  It must make people angry when others cheat it puts them at an advantage and it isn't fair.  I have heard good reports about Google as being a system you cannot cheat.

I’m glad that they have changed their system now because the older version can be cheated by just running several computers and using Alexa’s toolbar.

It's wrong that Choco the new system sounds far better.  I hate it when people cheat because it cheats not only themselves and the site but, the other people.  Hardly fair.  Do you know what I mean?

If you have a great Alexa rating, then well, it looks good....but otherwise, it's a rather pointless stat.

Not really worth using then.  My alexa rating would not be great because I have only just started my website and am not getting a lot of customers just yet.  Maybe when I have got the grasp of SEO a bit more and my website is bringing in more customers then I will look into Alexa rating.

Yeah, and even then, it really is just a "pretty" stat. You could toss it in your sidebar to show off, but otherwise, it doesn't serve much purpose.

Right now my alexa ranking has grown to 5 hundred thousands from 1 million.  I’m glad that my ranking is going up and I’m thinking of using it to my advantage.  I’m thinking of selling some ad space and this is one of the points and advertiser is looking into.
