When you set your website up did you realise how much work would go in to it to make it successful?  I have only just started to set my website up and I had no idea how much work it would take me to get there.  I still have so much to do with my website.

No, I had no idea when I started my first one. I was really just doing it for me, and then once I started putting in effort, it didn't seem to stop or slow down at all.

I know it is so time consuming.  Plus you have to wait for ages before it starts to pay off and you notice positive feedback for all the hard work you put in to it.  Still it is an exciting opportunity having your own website and you can either make it work or not as the case may be.

It's certainly exciting! I still have my main one "just for me" and love that I feel good doing it....but I definitely went through patches where I wondered why I was even bothering.

I have no idea when I started on my first site.  You can only earn by reading a lot of blogs and by asking on forums.

It is difficult when you first set up your website.  Work on a website never stops you have to put in to get out of it.  It depends how much work you put in to how much you get out of it.  Once you start to get positive feedback it is much better.  When you notice positive feedback it makes you want to put more work into the website.  It is exciting having your own website.  You can personalise it how you want it and you can add all your own content.  I have experienced those times when you wonder if it is all worth it, but with positive feedback you realise it is worth it.  Reading up about websites does help and is an essential element of a working website.

I’m thinking that I will create an affiliate website on September.  I’m expecting that by that month I would be free to work on some of my jobs.  I do have a plan and that is to keep it updated once a month and do my SEO a lot more.

All the best with your affiliate website it sounds really good.  I think you really have to work at a website, but to do so takes a lot of time and effort.  I think to get to the point where you can spend time on your website you have to limit the other work that you do in life.  My problem is that I take too much work on to never have time to work on my website.  It isn't easy balancing work with your website, but somehow you have to try.
