Blogs naturally attract traffic from search engines.  They are already optimized with clear navigation and every page contains a link back to the other main pages.  Listing to blog directories is a great way to advertise.  Try to choose a keyword that gets a medium amount of traffic resulting in more sales.  This might not get you lots of traffic but, it will maximise your earnings. The highest conversion rate from traffic that has come from search engine is when people do four word queries.  Your blog can become wonderfully indexed so it can show a great number of four word phrases.

There are also two and three word phrases that can be used to target traffic and sales.  You must try to choose the correct blog program   You will of course make the most money if you host your blog on your own domain.  Your blog can work to bring more traffic to your own website.  Participating in related forums and blogs can help target traffic to your website.

Blogs are really good if you don’t know a lot about HTML or web design because you can publish content easily onto the internet.  You have to keep the focus and make your blog as easy to use as possible.  Readers don’t want to see over complicated blogs that are difficult to read.  They want information on a wide range of subjects that is easy to read.

When writing a blog it is important to keep it interesting and write about something that is your passion that way you will be able to put across your own emotions and feelings.  I hope that this has helped.

The organization of a blog depends on what platform you use. Most of them automatically create "Archives," but some require you to build your own navigation, especially if you have a main page that leads to posts instead of just pages of posts.

Blogs can be an excellent way to establish, maintain and monitor your online reputation. If you're very knowledgeable on something, create a blog that demonstrates your knowledge. Or perhaps a blog is the best way to communicate with people. I started one for my family as we are spread across the globe, and it's easier to share photos of children and events on a blog than sending emails.

Do put some thought into your blog, though. What you want it to look like, whether or not it has a single theme or a series of themes, and its overall goal. Especially if you run a business, as it will become a reflection of you and your business.

Happy blogging!

I agree with both of those posts. Blogs are such an easy way to get started with a full-blown site, too, as they teach you the basics and get your foot in the door.

Blogs is a good way to sell some affiliate products because you can said a lot more and search engines do crawl them on a regular basis if the content is always fresh.  You can buy some campaigns and point it to your single post that contains the affiliate links.

Weebly? I haven't heard of that. Does it connect the content of you website to your blog, or vise versa?

I've always considered a blog an extension of a website, and a place to be a little more informal. Post interesting, funny things; commentary; a way to distinguish yourself from the pack. Or test out new ideas, new functionality.

Guess it depends on the objective of the blog, and whether or not it has a corresponding website.

Weebly...hmm...I'll have to check that out.

I just check out weebly and found out that you can host your own website for free.  I also check out some website they host and didn’t see any advertisement on them.  It looks like that I’m going to used them too.

Thanks!

Weebly is a killer service for free use.  I've played around with it so I could write an article about it.  So very easy to use and many options.

If you can drag and drop you are set!

Also Wordpress has something called a SEO pack that works nice.  Instead of making your keyword tags viewable to the public you can use the SEO pack instead.  It also has the title area, expert area and tags.

Nice feature for WP.

You have must have meant “All in one SEO Pack”.  I have been using it since the time I have created my first blog on Wordpress.  It does help on doing some SEO.

If you cruise sites specifically for bloggers, you can find inside information on getting some good friendly link love started. Just be careful what company you keep. When I start a new blog, I look for niche sites for links first and then start adding my info to blog directories and my sig lines on related forums.
