I haven't tried SEO for yahoo because I thought I could use YPN to help my traffic. Unfortunately it seems that Yahoo is going after the sites that already have a lot of traffic before letting the little guy use the service.
Has anyone here had good results with YPN? Has anyone managed to be accepted to the program yet?

Well getting accepted at YPN is not easy, I'm using my friend's account to use YPN for my sites and it is well worth it as compared to adwords. You can try the same for your self too

What are the differences between Yahoo and Google? Is Yahoo a little looser on its TOS? Do they allow more sorts of websites?

So this explains why yahoo SEO is not as familiar as Google, they are selective as to who they accept. That makes me think Google is still better.
