Jeremy Dearringer is co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Slingshot SEO. A Purdue University graduate, Jeremy launched his entrepreneurial pursuits by developing several e-commerce shopping sites offering products ranging from silk plants to motorcycle parts. During that time, he also built one of the largest online motorcycle community forums and a number of blogs to generate affiliate ad revenue and support his e-commerce ventures. These successes, starting during his high school years, have given Jeremy in excess of 13 years of experience in search engine optimization, keyword research, link building, web design, conversion rate optimization, social media, management and logistics.
In 1997, Jeremy and his current business partners used their knowledge of SEO to build ad revenue generating websites and real estate websites. Their expertise and teamwork also leveraged his family’s business, one of their main clients, into a period of explosive growth during a recession. The business partners’ foundation of knowledge and passion for SEO led them to form Slingshot SEO in 2006.
Kevin is co-founder and Chief Strategy Officer at Slingshot SEO. An Indiana University graduate, Kevin has more than fourteen years of Internet marketing experience involving organic search engine optimization, eCommerce, conversion rate analysis, statistical analysis, affiliate marketing and web design.
Prior to co-founding Slingshot SEO, Kevin spent two years working within the technology related intellectual property strategy practice of CRA International, a publicly traded consulting firm in Chicago, Illinois.
Kevin’s core responsibility at Slingshot SEO is to manage the company’s overall strategic objectives while also spending time on the sales side building new client relationships. He is responsible for finance, conversion rate analysis research & development and statistical analysis.
Ed Gehres is the Senior Vice President of Business Development at Slingshot SEO. He holds a BA in Political Science from the University of Southern California and a JD in Business & Commercial Law from Pepperdine University School of Law.
Ed served as a Captain in the US Army before his career in the software and professional services industry. Prior to joining Slingshot SEO, he held several VP-level positions at Aprimo – most recently as VP of Community Enablement, where he led the global strategic effort behind enabling internal sales and services resources and partners to drive substantial revenue growth for the company’s applications business.
Ed is an executive with a record of driving innovation, increasing revenues and profitability, improving operational processes, strengthening team capabilities, developing client focused service offerings, and enhancing client satisfaction.
Tim Conder is the Vice President of Services at Slingshot SEO. He holds a BS in Computer Information Systems Technology and an AS in Organizational Leadership and Supervision from Purdue University.
Prior to joining Slingshot SEO, TIm spent three years as a Software Engineer at Quest IS before joining Aprimo as a Manager and later as Director of Extended Services and Premier Support. There, Tim created and led a structured, post-implementation, remote services subscription based organization that provided a dedicated, experienced consulting presence on an ongoing annual basis.
John Lawrence is the Vice President of Applications Development at Slingshot SEO. He holds a BS in Computer Science from DePauw University.
Prior to joining Slingshot SEO, John served as a Software Architect and later as a Manager and Director at Aprimo.
Chad Pollitt is the Director of Marketing at Slingshot SEO. He holds a BS in Entrepreneurship from the Indiana University Kelley School of Business, an Internet Marketing Masters Certification from the University of San Francisco’s prestigious School of Business and Management and is a Certified HubSpot Partner.
Chad is a decorated veteran of Operation Iraqi Freedom and a former Army National Guard Commander. He authored “The Content Marketing Manifesto” in 2012. His other writings and articles have been published in dozens of newspapers, magazines and websites throughout the world. Prior to joining Slingshot SEO, Chad served as the Director of Inbound Marketing at Kuno Creative.
