Slingshot SEO is seeking a creative, hard working individual with a strong understanding of online social networks and copywriting skills to assist in Web 2.0 style viral marketing, marketing analytics, search engine optimization, and sponsored (PPC/PPC) search marketing campaigns. We will train the right self-motivated individual. Creativity, innovative thinking, and self-motivation is a must.

Job Description
Responsibilities will fall into four major areas: viral marketing, marketing analytics, search engine optimization and sponsored PPC search marketing.

Viral Marketing
Viral marketing includes building innovative excitement and community generators for our client's websites and using online public relations tactics to get people linking/talking/posting about a site.

Typical Viral Marketing Tasks:

Blogging / content networking (copywriting skills a must)
Online social networking
Press release creation & networking
Advergaming
Promotions & Sweepstakes
Podcasting, viral videos & multimedia
Guerilla marketing

Search Engine Optimization
A key task for Slingshot SEO's website marketing services is to optimize sites to rank high in the search engines for targeted search phrases.

Typical SEO Tasks:

Optimization strategy development
Keyword analysis
On page content optimization
Link building
Online content networking

Sponsored PPC Search Management
PPC search advertising is the text ads that are listed under "sponsored" in major search engines such as Google, Yahoo and MSN. This position will setup and manage sponsored search engine marketing campaigns.

Typical PPC Search Management Tasks:

Write sponsored ads
Place ads and manage bid prices via online tools
Evaluate ad effectiveness via online statistics

Job Skills
While extensive SEO and Viral marketing experience are not required, understanding of the social networking side of the web is a must (e.g. MySpace, Facebook, del.icio.us, Digg, blogging, forums, ect). This position requires a novel set of technical skills. Slingshot SEO will train the right creative, innovative and self-motivated candidate.

Candidates should have the following skills:

Strong grammar and spelling
Aptitude for marketing oriented copywriting
Strong ability to organize and classify
information/data Thoroughness and highly detail minded
Solid oral communication skills / ability to communicate with clients, vendors, partners and staff
