Penguin and Panda – 90 Days Later
On April 24th, 2012 Google released their Penguin algorithm update, which decreased the search engine rankings of websites that violate Google’s Webmaster Guidelines through black-hat SEO techniques such as keyword stuffing, cloaking, participating in link schemes, deliberate creation of duplicate content, and others.
Penguin, combined with several updates to the Panda algorithm, continue to affect the SEO efforts of websites, including some who have not participated in black-hat techniques.
Join Slingshot SEO and Conductor as we discuss what has happened in the 90 days since Penguin went into effect, and what we can expect from future refreshes to the algorithm. Nathan and Brian will share some interesting data from Conductor, and Casey will join them to answer your questions about the recent Google updates.
